IT'S HOLIDAY!

December 31, 2015 0 Comments
It was that time of the year again where everyone started to go for a holiday, including me.

This time, we headed to The Maldives of Thailand, Koh Lipe.

The legend says that Koh Lipe is as beautiful as Maldives. Everything from crystal clear turquoise water, white sandy beaches and bountiful marine life, Koh Lipe has it.

Yup, the legend is true!
Koh Lipe is really a beautiful island. I can't find a word to describe on how beautiful it is. The views are so amazing that I almost thought that they were fake.

I am not sure how deep it is but look at how clear the water is.
Don't you just want to take a swim by looking at this?
I almost jumped into the water but my camera stopped me from doing so, haha!
Gotta get a waterproof camera next time.

We took a ferry from Langkawi and before reaching the shore, they transferred us into a long tail boat. Amazing views!

We then took a motor taxi for 100 baht (50 baht each person) to our resort because we had no idea where the resort was and it was too hot to walk with two huge luggage bags.
Tip of the day, travel light.

The resort that we were staying at was Lipe Beach Resort and it was an awesome place to stay!

If you are planing to visit Koh Lipe, I would highly recommend Lipe Beach Resort.
There are different type of rooms and bungalows available at a different price rate.

We booked a Beachfront Wooden Bungalow, the one behind the tree but not the one on the left side.
The one on the left side was quite expensive for us so we had to get the smaller one beside it, it was still a great place to stay though!

It is just a small and cozy bungalow at the beach side.

Let's take a bungalow tour!

This is what you see when you go inside the bungalow.

Bed on the right side and you can hang all your clothes on the left side.
The door in front is the toilet but why transparent glass door?
I don't remember pooping can be sexy enough for people to see, haha!

Here is the toilet and it looks kinda creepy to me too.

The light was very dim and I couldn't stop myself from thinking that there might be frogs or insects in the toilet. I was so scared every time when I was taking my shower but I survived!

One tip for you guys if you are planing to stay in a wooden bungalow like this, bring some mosquito repellents with you because there are a lot of mosquitos during the night.

One of the best things about this place, SWING!
I will never get too old for swing, it is the best thing to have.

Weeeee~~~

We walked around on the beach and it was the best feeling on Earth!
It felt so relaxing to just walk around aimlessly.

To all the dog lovers out there, there are a lot of dogs roaming around the island.
Don't forget to pet them when you see them.

We saw a double rainbow while we was walking around the beach, it was our lucky day!

One of the rainbows was very light, my phone couldn't get a good picture of it.
Look at it closely, the lighter rainbow is on the right side.

We had our dinner at one of the shops in Walking Street (I can't remember the name of the shop).

I had a Nasi Goreng Kampung with watermelon juice.
The taste was good but it was too spicy for me.
Loved the freshly squeezed watermelon juice, it was so refreshing.

We were walking around at Walking Street and I had to have a bag of potato chips.

And that was how we ended our night.

Another tip for you guys, don't forget to bring along a torch light with you because it gets really dark during night time.

It was time for us to rest after a long day of travel.

Stay tune for the next post, our adventure in Koh Lipe.

Love,
Rachel.

10 Questions Review : Snail Pink

December 18, 2015 3 Comments
Hello everyone and welcome back to another 10 Questions Review post.

I had been breaking out real bad for the past two weeks and I had no idea why.
Things were getting worse when I started to pop all those acne on my face.
Yes, I know that I shouldn't pop them out but I couldn't stop myself from popping them. >.<

In the end, I ended up with a lot of acne scars on my face.
I needed some miracle cream to remove them and thank God I actually found it!
It was not really a cream to remove acne scars but at least it did lighten up the acne scars or acne marks and that was good enough for me.

Raise your hand up high if you are looking for a miracle cream to lighten up your acne scars too.

I tried it and it worked!

1. What is this product?
Snail Pink, Snail Pore Reducing Serum For Oily Skin from Cathy Doll.

2. What does this product do?

3. How to use this product?
Apply a small amount of this product at the final stage of your skin care routine.

4. Where can you get this product?
You can get this product at all Guardian store.

5. What is the price of this product?
Guardian is selling it for RM 59.90.

6. What is your experience in using this product?
Great product and I really liked it! It worked really well on my skin and it didn't cause any break out while I was using it.

I applied this product every night before I went to bed and the result was quite amazing.

Day 1: Fresh acne scars on my left cheek, red and bumpy scars.

Day 3: Acne scars are still there but not as red as in day 1.

Day 5: New acne scars on my right cheek because I had to pop them out, my bad. But look on the left side of my cheek, it is healing real fast.

Day 7: Oh yeah! 90% of them are gone. I can see a huge difference within one week so yes, I say this is a miracle cream for me.

Besides than being able to lighten the acne scars, it says there it helps to tighten pores too but I didn't find that really effective on my skin. My pores are still huge until now even after using this product for some time.

7. Do you like this product? Why?
I love this product so much! It works wonder for me.
I love the smell of it, I love how cute the packaging is, I love how effective it is in lightening acne scars and I love how it doesn't break my skin out even more.

THUMBS UP!

8. Will you recommend this product to a friend?
Yes, I will because not only it is cheap but it is really effective too.

9. Will you repurchase this product in the future?
Yes, of course! I will surely repurchase this product in the future.

10. Out of 10, how would you rate this product?
I would rate it 9 out of 10 because this cream is just simply amazing!
I was amazed at how quick it faded my acne scars, it was really fast.

For you girls out there who are trying to lighten acne scar, this will be the product for you.
But seriously, you girls have to stop popping acne or pimples already. =P

That is it for this 10 Questions Review post.
I hope you guys enjoy reading it and I shall see you soon!

Remember, stop popping them already. =P

Love,
Rachel.

10 Questions Review : SkinnyMint

December 05, 2015 1 Comments
Hello everyone, welcome back to another blog post of mine.

Are you feeling bloated lately? Are you trying to lose some weight? Or are you trying to kick start a healthy lifestyle?

Recently, I have come across a lot of detox tea on the market. Most of them claimed themselves to be able to boost metabolism, flush out unwanted toxin, reduce bloating and also burn fat.

Out of curiosity, I decided to try SkinnyMint detox tea or Teatox, that is what they called themselves. Since I was bloating really bad and I needed to burn some fats too so I thought why not give this a try?

I tried SkinnyMint and here is my 10 Questions Review on SkinnyMint.

1. What is this product?
SkinnyMint Detox Tea or Teatox, Tea + Detox = Teatox.

2. What does this product do?
It helps to cleanse, reduce bloating, flush out unwanted toxin and burn fat in a natural way because SkinnyMint is created using 100% natural and organic ingredients.

3. How to use this product?
For the Morning Boost, you can drink them everyday whereas you drink the night cleanse every other night.

4. Where can you get this product?
You can purchase SkinnyMint online through their website and the best thing is they ship worldwide.

5. What is the price of this product?
I bought their 28 Day Ultimate Teatox for RM169.90.
You can also get their Besties Value Teatox which has two 28 Day Ultimate Teatox for only RM278.00 and, you save RM30.90 if you have someone to share with.

6. What is your experience in using this product?
Overall, I liked it but it was a little expensive.
I would drink the Morning Boost about 3 to 4 cups everyday before and after having my breakfast and 1 cup of Night Cleanse every other night.
I also exercised every other day throughout the 28 days of Teatoxing.
I liked how it reduced bloating and helped me to flush out the waste from my body.
Before this, I was really bloated and I did suffered from constipation. After drinking SkinnyMint, I manged to flush out everyday, no more constipation.
Not sure whether bloating is related to constipation or not but, I felt less bloated after being able to poop everyday.

Here is a before and after picture of my tummy.
As you can see, the before me is really bloated and I have that fat around my lower-belly.
The after me looks better as I have a smaller waistline and lesser lower-belly fat compared to the before me, less bloated for sure.

7. Do you like this product? Why?
Overall, I really liked how it reduced my bloating and constipation issues. The Night Cleanse really helped in flushing out the waste from my body and therefore flatter tummy. This is a big YAY for me.
I didn't really like the taste of it because it tasted like a cup full of herbs but it was still tolerable for me.

8. Will you recommend this product to a friend?
Yes, I would. Besides than losing weight, it did a really great job in reducing bloat and gas. Thumbs up for that because constantly feeling bloated sucks.

9. Will you repurchase this product in the future?
Honestly, I don't think I would repurchase this product in the future because it is quite pricey though. Maybe I would try something else that is more cheaper than this.

10. Out of 10, how would you rate this product?
I would rate it 8 out of 10.
It did really help in reduced bloating which was what I needed the most but I didn't lose any weight from drinking it.

That is it to my product review today and I hope you guys would find it helpful.

There are actually many ways to detox, even a simple cup of warm water with some fresh lemons or a cup of green tea is able to do the work. Yup, you heard me right, green tea or matcha is good in detoxing your body as well. If any of you guys are looking for another option in detoxing, I highly recommend you to read this blog from one of my friends on how he documenting his green tea detox journey. There are a lot of useful information on the blog that are able help you to understand more in green tea detox so don't forget to check that out.

Okay, thank you guys for reading and I will review on another detox tea product soon.

Happy Teatoxing!

Love,
Rachel.

Everything About Traveling to Koh Lipe

November 14, 2015 2 Comments
Hello everyone!

I just came back from another awesome holiday from Koh Lipe, Thailand.

Koh Lipe, Thailand.

A little information on Koh Lipe if you guys haven't heard about this beautiful island.
It is a small island in the Southern part of the Thai Andaman Sea and it is really close to Malaysia too. A great place to go to if you don't like a long-haul flight. ;)

Koh Lipe is famous of its white sandy beaches, beautiful turquoise seawater and bountiful marine life. Everything about this island is really beautiful and breathtaking. It is heaven on Earth!

Some people even named this place as The Maldives of Thailand.

In this blog post, I am going to share some tips about traveling to Koh Lipe, Thailand.

How to get there from Malaysia?
1. Fly from KLIA or KLIA2 to LIA (Langkawi International Airport) or whatever possible ways to get yourself to Langkawi.

2. Take a taxi from LIA to Telaga Terminal for RM27. There is a taxi counter at the airport selling taxi coupons.

3. It is about a 1.5 hours journey from Telaga Terminal to Koh Lipe. You may purchase your ferry ticket online and they will send you a booking confirmation voucher. Just print it out and bring it along with you because it is required for check-in. Visit Telaga Terminal website for ticket booking.

When you are reaching Koh Lipe.
They will transfer everyone and all the luggage bags from the ferry into the long-tail boat.

Remember to wear just shorts and slippers because there is no jetty for you to walk on and you need to wade ashore.

When you are at Koh Lipe's immigration.
If you already have your return ticket (booking confirmation voucher) with you, hand it over to the guy (wearing purple t-shirt) sitting at the table there.

Wait for your name to be called for immigration check.
Before you board on the ferry, they will collect your passport and will only return it to you after the immigration check at Koh Lipe.

Where to stay?
There are 3 different beaches (Pattaya Beach, Sunrise Beach and Sunset Beach) to stay at and I would recommend you to stay at Sunrise Beach because it is less crowded compared to Pattaya Beach but not as quiet and isolated as Sunset Beach. It is depend on your own preference whether you would prefer a more crowded beach or a more quiet beach,

I stayed at Lipe Beach Resort which is located at Sunrise Beach and it was awesome! I would highly recommend Lipe Beach Resort if you are planning to stay at Sunrise Beach.
Of course there are other beautiful resorts available too.

How to travel around the island?
Koh Lipe is a really small island. Walking around the island is not really a problem but there is a taxi service available if you want to. They charge 50 baht for each person.

Walking from Sunrise Beach to Walking Street took us about 10 to 15 minutes.
Walking from Pattaya Beach to Sunset Beach took us about 20 minutes.

So basically walking from one place to another will take approximately 20 to 30 minutes.

Love snorkeling?
There are a lot of packages available for you to choose from.
Everything such as mask, snorkel, fins, life jacket, lunch, fruit and water are included in every of the packages available. For lunch, you can choose either chicken fried rice or seafood fried rice.

I chose two packages (Program A and Program B) from Thai Beach Traveler and it was an awesome snorkeling experience.

If you have a GoPro or waterproof camera, bring that with you because the corals are really beautiful.

What to eat?
The best food of all, 7-Eleven food! Don't forget to try their prawn burger (the one in blue packet) because it has real prawns inside.

Mango Sticky Rice

Thai Fruit Pancake (Banana and Nutella Pancake) and Coconut Shake.

Coconut Ice-Cream

Thai Fish Cake

Green Curry Chicken

Coconut Cookie & Cream Ice-Cream

What to buy?
Souvenirs. You can get them for like 3 for 100 baht.
There are key chains, pen holders, magnets and more to choose from.

If you are a potato chips or junk food lover like me, don't forget to try them all! ;)

Where to get a good massage?
I went to Leelawadee Massage Resort to get a pedicure and my bf got a foot massage.
It was awesome! Great service and nice environment.

What to see?
Don't forget to head over to Sunrise Beach at about 5:00 a.m. (Thai time) and also Sunset Beach at about 6:00 p.m. (Thai time) to witness the most amazing view ever!

 Sunrise at Sunrise Beach.

Sunset at Sunset Beach.

What else to do in Koh Lipe?
Head over to Walking Street for some shopping time and of course for the amazing food too!

Other tips.
1. Travel light if it is possible because dragging a luggage bags on a sandy beach is not easy.

2. Bring a torch light along because it would be really dark during the night.

3. There are a lot of mosquito during the night so don't forget to bring some mosquito repellents with you.

4. Don't forget to bring your sunblock and don't forget to reapply it too.

5. Just wear shorts and slippers.

6. Get a waterproof bag or dry bag to store your valuable belongings such as camera, phone and whatever stuff that can't get wet.

Okay, that is everything about traveling to Koh Lipe. Almost everything. ;)
If you guys have any question to ask, just leave it in the comment box down below and I will reply you. I will also leave some links for you guys to refer at the end of this blog post.

So what are you guys waiting for? Pack your bags and let's go!

Have fun in Koh Lipe!
