My Obsession With Earrings

August 31, 2016 2 Comments
A girl can never have enough earrings, am I right?

I know, not only we can never have enough earrings, basically we can never have enough of everything including shoes, dresses, accessories and etc. This list would go on and on, to infinity and beyond!

That is why we go SHOPPING!

In this blog post, I am going to proudly share to you girls some of my earrings collection.

When I go shopping for earrings, usually I will just go for those with simple and cute designs. I don't really go for the statement earrings because they are too loud and bold to me, not really my kind of style. I prefer to keep it nice and simple.

Here are some of my minimal silver earrings that I got not long ago from Taobao.com.

These are my everyday earrings, they are very simple and they go with basically every outfits that you wear.

When you are in a rush to be somewhere else but you don't want to leave your ears looking boring, these minimal earrings will save your day. Haha! Trust me, been there, done that. ;)

Reindeer and snowflake are my favourite because I love mismatched earrings.
Life is too short for matching earrings. xD

Here are some of the mismatched earrings that I really love.

My favourite mismatched earrings?
BURGER and DRINK!

It would be even better if those were burger and fries but too bad, they didn't have those. =(

When you love food so much and you have to get them in earrings form.

Cupcake, lollipop, candy, strawberry, doughnut, burger and ice-cream, I am going crazy over these cute food earrings.

Hrm... I think I need more of these cute food earrings, earrings hunting time!

Where do you girls usually shop for earrings? Any great suggestion?

I usually get my earrings from Lovisa, they have a wide range of earrings from minimal earrings to statement earrings. Not only earrings, they are selling all sort of accessories such as necklaces, bracelets, hair accessories, watches, and etc.

These are some of the earrings that I got from Lovisa recently and I am so in loved.

When you are a big fan of Mickey Mouse, Mickey Mouse for life!

Look at how cute that tiny little red shorts is, SO CUTE!

Here are some earrings that are perfect for days when I am going for the vintage look.

Besides than all those cute and fun looking earrings, I am also obsessed with shiny sparkly earrings.

These look so elegant and classy and it would be a great match with an evening dress or days when you wanna dress up a little.

Last but not least, my one and only statement earrings and I am still clueless on why did I get it in the first place.

I bought this a while ago and I still have not worn it until now and I am not sure what kind of occasion it suits. Looks like these will be kept in the basket for some time now, why did I get these again?

Okay, that is it to my earrings collection and I hope I didn't bore you girls to death. xD

Phew, today is already the last day of August. Time does fly fast and we are left with only 4 months before 2016 comes to an end.

Oh God, can we just pause time for a while?
I am so not ready for this.

Raise your hand if this freaks you out too.
I feel you girl, we are all in the same boat, haha! xD

Okay okay, gotta hit the publish button before I continue typing on how fast time passes by.

I wish everyone has a great day ahead and I shall update you guys soon on another blog post.

Happy Hump Day!

The girl who is obsessed with earrings,
Rachel.

10 Questions Review : Annie's Way

August 18, 2016 1 Comments
HOLA ladies and welcome back to my blog!

It has been a while since I last updated my blog because I have been really busy with work and there were just so many things to sort out.

You know that kind of feeling when life gets so overwhelmed and you have no idea what to do next. Yeah, I was going through that kind of phase in life. Tough life, LOL! xD

Phew, let's just put that all away, sit back, relax and start writing or typing in this case.

Recently. I have been obsessing over face masks and I would purchase every face mask that I find interesting, be it a clay mask, sheet mask or any form of mask that is selling out there.

The happiest thing about face mask shopping is that I actually found some great masks that are suitable for my skin. (I have oily skin, like super oily skin)

WIN! It is considered as a great accomplishment to find something that actually suit your skin type.
Girls, you understand me right? =P

Maybe I should write a review on every face mask that I have tried out so far, what do you girls think?

Okay, for today's review post, let's start with Annie's Way face mask first.

1. What is this product?
Annie's Way, Charcoal Black Jelly Mask.

2. What does this product do?
Annie's Way, Charcoal Black Jelly Mask effectively helps in oil controlling, deep pore cleansing and also skin whitening.

I have a really uncontrollable oily skin and this was what I was looking for, something to tame the oiliness of my skin.

To girls out there who have oily skin, you know the struggle.

And it says here "Suitable for over oily skin". Yup, that is my skin you are talking about right there.

3. How to use this product?
First, wash your face with a facial cleanser and apply serum or toner afterwards as a base.

I am using The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil and Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions Clarifying Lotion as my base before applying the jelly mask.

Next step, you apply the jelly mask evenly all over your face with the spatula provided.

Let it rest for about 15 to 20 minutes and scrape it out gently from your skin using the spatula.

Lastly, apply moisturizer or any facial product that you usually use after removing all the jelly mask from your face.

Here are the instructions you can read from the box.

4, Where can you get this product?
I got mine from Hermo Malaysia, an online beauty store which sells a wide variety of beauty products from Taiwan, Korea, Japan and etc.

So far, I haven't seen any drug stores or outlets selling Annie's Way mask so I am not sure where you can get this other than Hermo Malaysia. (Don't worry, I am not trying to promote Hermo)

5. What is the price of this product?
I bought it during a sales for RM 59.00.

6. What is your experience in using this product?
I am using this mask once a week just to pamper my skin a little or when my skin needs help, haha!

It is really a moisturizing mask and it will not leave your skin feeling sticky at all. I love how it always makes my skin feeling soft and smooth after every use.

You can't really tell the difference it has made to my skin from the picture but trust me, this mask has helped me a lot in oil controlling whereas for the brightening part, I am not really sure. Maybe I should use it more often to see the whitening result.

One thing that I don't really like about jelly mask is that it is kinda hard to remove. Hard as in I can't just splash water all over my face and hope that it will all go away. Uh uh, it ain't working that way because somehow jelly doesn't really dissolve in water easily. The whole sink would end up with black jelly, haha!

Apart from that little messy situation, everything else about this mask is awesome!

7. Do you like this product? Why?
Yup, I really like it! I love how moisturize it is to my skin after every use and it does not make my skin feels sticky or oily.

Besides that, it does help in controlling the oiliness of my skin and this is considered as a big YAY for me as my skin gets really oily maybe a few hours after I wash my face.

From my experience, usually sheet mask will leave my skin feeling sticky and oily, not a big fan of sheet mask.

8. Will you recommend this product to a friend?
Yes, whoever has oily skin like me, I would highly recommend you to try this mask out. It doesn't dry out your skin and it leaves a smooth and moist kind of feeling after you remove the mask.

It feels like silk on your skin, haha!

9. Will you repurchase this product in the future?
Yes, if I can't find any other mask to experiment with. Don't get me wrong, it is a great mask but I love to experiment with all kind of mask out there in the market. Plus, it is a huge tub of mask, I have been using it for the past 4 months and I am not even halfway through it.

10. Out of 10, how would you rate this product?
I would give it a 9 because it smells amazing, it doesn't dry out your skin, it moisturizes your skin and it leaves your skin feeling so smooth after using it.

Okay, that is it for this post.
I hope you girls somehow find it useful if you are planning on trying some new facial masks.

Time to pamper myself with a good facial mask, it is ME TIME!

Wishing you all a great week ahead and I shall update you guys soon in my next blog post.

Love,
Rachel.

McDonald's X nanoblock

June 22, 2016 0 Comments
Hello, peeps and welcome back to my blog!

It is already Wednesday and how are you guys holding up so far?
Hang in there, we are halfway there to the weekend!

And today I decided to blog about one of my favourite collections from McDonald's.

I am a 25-year-old adult (am I really an adult now?) but when I see toys or plushies, I am back to my 5-year-old self.

Being able to spoil myself with some toys or plushies is like being a grown up kid who can actually afford all the toys or plushies that I want!

Being a grown up can be fun too until you have to pay your bills, haha!

One of my favourite places to get my toy would be McDonald's because you get food and toy at the same time, what could be better than this?
I have a legit excuse to feed myself some junk food and make my soul happy, who doesn't like that? xD

Okay, let's move on to the fun part!

I am going to share with you guys one of my favourite toy collections from McDonald's, McDonald's X nanoblock.

First thing first, I am sorry that my blog is having some problem in keeping up with the times.
If you noticed something about this image, you would realize that this set of toys came out last year October.

I wanted to blog about this like forever and finally now I have the time to do so. My apologies if this comes a little too late.

One thing about collecting toys from McDonald's is that you need to wait patiently for weeks before you get the complete set of toys. Patient, the key to everything.

It was the longest 3 weeks that I have had in my whole life when I was collecting this set of toys but the satisfaction when you finally got them all was amazing.

In the end, the time that you spent waiting was worth it!

Okay, I am being so dramatic again, back to the toys! xD

Here is the complete collection from McDonald's X nanoblock, I am so in loved.

There are total of 7 different designs and I think they should add McDonald's Sundae Cone in it, don't you guys agree with me? What is McDonald's without their signature Sundae Cone?

Do note that all these nanoblock are prebuilt and you can't disassemble them.
It is fine for me that I can't disassemble them because I tend to lose small stuff easily.

Let me introduce you to one of my favourite McDonald's toy collections.

They seriously need to add Sundae Cone or Chicken McNuggets into the collection because I feel that this is not the complete McDonald's, haha!

Week 1: Big Mac and Fries.

Big Mac and Fries would be my favourite set from this collection.
I am a fast food lover, I love burgers and fries and having your favourite food in this cute nano bricks form is priceless.

You know that kind of joy of having your favourite food printed on a shirt or something. You get what I mean right? Like a pizza sweatshirt maybe? I would love to have that, haha!

Week 2: McFlurry and Pie.

We already have the McFlurry nanoblock so can we have the Sundae Cone next?
Pretty please.....

Week 3: McCafe and Cold Cup.

Do you want to have a cuppa coffee?

Week 4: McDonald's Restaurant.

The McDonald's Restaurant is slightly bigger than the other 6 designs and it is so cute!
Now I have a mini McDonald's at home (which doesn't sell any burgers), haha!

Added another new set of toys to my collections and I love them so much.

I love how tiny they are that I can fit all of them on my "full of junks" desk, they are so cute!

A desk full of happiness (and junks).

What else do you collect from McDonald's?

The famous Hello Kitty plushies?
Because I have them too! ;) I am not a Hello Kitty fan but somehow I felt the need to collect them too.

If you are interested to know, Christopher Tan is the man behind McDonald's X nanoblock.
Thanks for bringing McDonald's to life, in tiny bricks form!

Okay, that is it to this blog post.
I hope you guys enjoy reading and I shall update you guys soon!

Happy collecting toys and plushies!

The toy collector,
Rachel.

10 Questions Review : Natural Clenx Tea

June 11, 2016 67 Comments
Hello humans and maybe aliens from Mars!

After so many months and finally, I am back with another review post.
In today's review post, I will be sharing with you guys on my experience with Natural Clenx Tea.

People have been raving about detox or slimming tea and I have read a lot of positive results or reviews from drinking them, so I thought why not I give it a try and see the result myself.

A few months ago, I did a review on SkinnyMint Teatox, another brand of detox tea that I have tried. Don't forget to read on it as well if you are interested in trying some other detox tea brand.

Okay, let's read on my experience from drinking Natural Clenx Tea.

1. What is this product?
Natural Clenx Tea is actually one of the detox/slimming teas that you can get at any drug stores or pharmacies. It is not a new product that is selling in the market, I just came across to this product and decided to give it a try.

Detoxing + Slimming = One cup of tea
Who wouldn't want to give this a try?

2. What does this product do?
Natural Clenx Tea helps to regulate your digestive system and bowel movement by cleansing your tummy and flushing out any unwanted toxins.

The result? Slimmer tummy and constipation no more!

3. How to use this product?
Take 1 to 2 tea bags of Natural Clenx Tea after every meal but this tea may be a little strong for some people. My suggestion is to drink it after one of the meals, maybe lunch and see how it goes. If your body is accepting it well then you can drink it again after dinner.

4. Where can you get this product?
You can get it from Caring, Guardian, Watsons or any drug stores.

5. What is the price of this product?
I got mine from Watsons and it contains 25 sachets per box for about RM 28.00++.

There are bigger box available which contains 50 sachets. You can get the smaller one first to try and if you really like it then get the bigger one because usually the bigger one is cheaper than the smaller one.

Bigger box with 50 sachets is selling at about RM 50 - RM 60.

6. What is your experience in using this product?
First thought, WOAH! This tea really makes you poo and then I named it the pooping tea. xD

At first, I drank it everyday after lunch and I found out that I had been going to the toilet for way too many times and it was like suffering from diarrhea.

Then I reduced it to once every other day and that was way much better. Usually if I drink it after lunch, I will poo later in the evening around 7 - 8 pm.

Besides than detoxing and slimming, this tea managed to regulate my toilet schedule which I found really good, at least I can poo regularly now.

After drinking it for a few months, I stopped drinking it unless I have not released anything out for more than 2 days.

Did I manage to lose weight after drinking Natural Clenx Tea

I did a one month Natural Clenx Tea challenge but bear in mind that I did not drink it everyday. I drank it everyday for the first few days then I reduced it to once every other day and if I went to the toilet in the morning then I would skip drinking it for that particular day.

So throughout the one month challenge, maybe I drank it for like 12 to 15 times.

Here are the before and after pictures for comparison.

I don't think there is any huge difference between before and after but at least I can see that my tummy looks a lot flatter compared to the before picture.

As far as detoxing concerned, it really did a great job.
For the slimming part, the numbers on the scale didn't drop but at least I am feeling less bloated now.

7. Do you like this product? Why?
It was a love-hate relationship between Natural Clenx Tea and I.

Why did I love it?
It helped me a lot in releasing toxins and wastes.
Previously, I had this serious constipation issue and sometimes I only went to the toilet for like 3 times a week. And you know what happens when you don't constantly release your waste, BLOATED BELLY.

Another good thing about Natural Clenx Tea, it actually helped me to regulate my toilet schedule.
Before this, I drank it everyday just to make sure that I can poo daily. Then, I reduced it to once every other day and now, I can poo daily without drinking it.
No more constipation issue.

To me, Natural Clenx Tea is really good for those people who are suffering from constipation.

Why did I hate it?
I drank it after lunch and usually waste will be released later in the evening. The problem with releasing waste was my tummy would hurt like hell, seriously hurt like hell and sometimes I needed to go to the toilet for more than twice.

I am not sure how your body will react to it but remember, don't drink it if you have somewhere else to be at during evening or night time. Who knows your tummy's reaction would be the same as mine. Running around looking for toilet is not cute at all, haha!

Overall, Natural Clenx Tea is really a great product and I am really satisfied with it (minus the tummy pain).

8. Will you recommend this product to a friend?
Yeah, highly recommended for those people who are suffering from constipation. Natural Clenx Tea really helped me a lot.

9. Will you repurchase this product in the future?
I will only repurchase it if I need it in the future. As I said in #7, it really helped me in regulating my toilet schedule and now I am able to go to the toilet daily. I don't think I need to poo so many times in a day, haha!

10. Out of 10, how would you rate this product?
I would rate it 9 out of 10.

You know why I gave it a 9, without that crazy tummy pain, it would be a perfect 10.

Maybe it was too strong for my tummy to handle because my sister who is still drinking it regularly seems to be okay with it. She has no pain and no complain at all.

You need to try it yourself and see how your body reacts to it. It may be too strong for some people and it may be working great for some people.

Okay, that is it to my review post on Natural Clenx Tea
I hope you guys would somehow find it useful if you are planing on trying Natural Clenx Tea

Always remember, you know your body well. Listen to your body, if you find yourself going to the toilet for way too many times then try to reduce the intake of it.

Different people will have different body and you know your body well.

Happy detoxing and slimming.

Love,
Rachel.

Taking My Cardio Workout To The Next Level

May 31, 2016 0 Comments
Hello people and welcome back to my blog!

First question, any shopaholic over here?
I am one and is anyone care to join my squad?
We can go shopping together and I won't judge, LOL! xD

My job has been driving me crazy lately and I needed something to keep me sane.
That was one of the reasons why I have been splurging like a rich girl for the past few weeks.

When I am stressed, I don't eat desserts. Stop telling me that stressed spelled backwards is desserts.
Uh uh, it ain't happening to me.

This is what works for me, "Shopping is my cardio."

You gotta work hard girls on that cardio! ;)

And now I am going to share the result of my "cardio workout".

I did my "cardio workout" at H&M, Forever21, Padini, Uniqlo and Kitschen.
These are some of my favourite places to go to when I need some retail therapy.

1. H&M
I had to get this one because it is a freaking box of fries asking you to kiss it.
I love to eat fries and fries are life!

Embrasse-moi means kiss me in French because fries speak French. French fries, get it?

Okay, it is a lame joke and let's move on.

Little black dress is what every girl needs in her wardrobe and I needed one too, especially with the cool back design of it.
I am so in loved with the back of this dress, how cool is that?

Okay, I got the sweatshirt and dress and I needed something casual for everyday wear.

I decided to get this top because I love how casual it is and the peekaboo effect at the back.

Ignore about how crumpled the top is, I didn't have the time to iron it. xD

Rompers, the lazy girl's everyday outfit.
And when you find a romper with pockets, you have to get it!

2. Kitschen
I have been obsessing over crop tops recently and I got these two from Kitschen.

This navy blue crop top would be my favourite one because it doesn't show too much of my skin and I have a statement necklace that actually goes very well with it.
It is a WIN!

The other crop top looks rather simple and plain at the front but kinda cool at the back.
Surprise surprise from the back. =P

Looking back at my new clothes, I realized that I really love outfits with more details at the back.

3. Padini
Another romper that I got from Padini for the lazy girl's everyday wear and yes, I love the open back detail of it.

Why do I even need this?
Because it is a pink shirt with polka dots, so cute!

And that legging pants are from Uniqlo. Trust me, it is the comfiest legging pants on Earth.
I gave up my jeans for these legging pants.

4. Uniqlo
I am a Mickey Mouse fan and if I see anything Mickey Mouse, I must have it.

It is actually a guy t-shirt but luckily they have it in size S.
Although it still looks a little baggy on me but I still want to have it.

You can never have enough t-shirts.

And also singlets, had to get this one too.

I love how this gives you a beach vacation kind of feeling. I am so gonna save this for my next beach vacation.

Shorts are my best friend and I love everything with anchor print on it.

12. Accessories
Lastly, some accessories to mix and match with my new outfits.

That is it, those are the things that I got from my "cardio workout".

This is what I will be doing when I am stressed.
Shopping is the best therapy on Earth until you realize that you are broke, haha!

***Crying on the pile of new clothes***

Sometimes you gotta treat yourself right because no one else will.
A little retail therapy to make your world a better place again!

Rebecca Bloomwood from Confession of a Shopaholic understands this. xD

Back to reality, back to work!
Work hard, spend hard huh?

Looking forward to the next payday so that I can splurge like a boss again!
LOL! I am joking.

Remember, when you are stressed, go shopping!

Happy shopping, girls!

The girl who loves to shop,
Rachel.

What's In My Travel Backpack?

January 29, 2016 2 Comments
Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog.

I have just come back from a holiday in Jakarta and I thought I would show you guys what is in my travel backpack.

I do travel quite often and finally I know what are the essentials or basic things that I need to pack in my carry-on backpack.

I hope this blog post would help you guys a little on what to pack in your carry-on backpack.
Or if you have any tips to share, don't forget to comment down below.

Okay, let's get started!

This is my backpack that I brought with me to Jakarta.

As you can see from here, I am a HUGE Mickey Mouse fan!
This backpack was my 24th birthday present from my bf and he got it from Vans.
If you are more of a Minnie Mouse fan, they have it in Minnie Mouse design too.

In my backpack: Camera, umbrella, water bottle, cleansing wipe, notebook, power bank, passport holder and two purses.

The reason why I love this backpack so much is because it has a very spacious space and of course, it is Mickey Mouse! =P

I always put my camera in the camera bag and sling it over my shoulder but sometimes, I find it difficult to like moving around. The strap of the bag will be keep falling off from my shoulder and it is kind of irritating when you are carrying a lot of things with you.

Thanks to this backpack, I managed to put everything including the camera bag in the backpack.

Many of you may be wondering why don't I just carry the camera with me, without the camera bag.
It is my precious camera and I am a very rough person so, it has got to be in the bag to avoid any unnecessary scratch or whatever possible incident that could happen to it.

My Preciousssss (Please ignore my bad photoshop skill)

Moving on to the next item in my backpack, umbrella.
Honestly, I hate carrying an umbrella with me because it is heavy to me but you never know when it will rain so yeah, better be prepared than to end up soaking wet.

A water bottle, it is important to keep yourself hydrated throughout your holiday.
It is considered as a basic human needs to me.
Just bring along an empty bottle with you then fill it up at the airport and don't forget to fill them up again before you leave the hotel to explore the city.

If you have an oily skin like me, don't forget to bring a packet of cleansing wipe with you.
I have a really oily skin and it can get really nasty so I need a cleansing wipe to keep my face fresh all day.

I am the old school type of person who is still using a notebook instead of the note app that you can find in your smartphone. Writing down stuff is very important to me because I have a really short term memory.

One of the most important things to have in your backpack, power bank.
We used our phones a lot throughout the trip just to Google. We Googled what to do, where to eat, what to buy and all sort of things. This is where power bank comes in handy, to make sure our phones will never run out of battery and of course, don't forget to charge your power bank while you are sleeping at night.

To me, it is very important to carry your passport along with you and I think having a passport holder like this is quite convenient. I can keep every important documents such as my boarding pass, bus ticket, train ticket or whatever it is all together in this holder. It is much easier to look for the document that you want when they are all well organized in this passport holder.

Why am I carrying two purses?
I prefer to keep different currency in a different purse. It is much easier for me because sometimes, different notes might have the almost same colour and it is seriously confusing.
Imagine all the coins are placed together in one same purse, you will have a hard time in looking for the right coins.

Let's move on to the front pocket of my backpack.
I really love backpack that has a front pocket, it is much easier for me to access little things that I need during the trip.

In my backpack's front pocket: Facial tissue, medications (just in case), sanitary pad, lip balm and candy or mint.

I can't live without a pack of facial tissue because I tend to sweat a lot during a hot sunny day.
I used to steal tissues from my hotel room (cheapskate me =P) but then sometimes, they only provided toilet paper instead of facial tissue so yeah, better carry one myself.

Don't forget to bring along some medications with you, you will never know what might happen next. My bf got a really bad food poisoning during our last trip in Bangkok, luckily there was a pharmacy next to our hotel else I seriously had no idea where to look for a pharmacy so, the best thing to do is to at least carry some like paracetamol or whatever you think you might need.

Girls talk now. You will never know when your girl is going to pay you a visit so yeah, just carry one to be safe because sometimes it is unpredictable when your hormones are going cray cray. Girls problem.

Carry your favourite lip balm with you because your lips can get very dry when you are in the plane.
My lips crack easily so I always carry one or two with me.

Candy or mint, it is a must. You know how you get one of those stinky breath when you are traveling for a very long time so yeah, just to keep your breath fresh and clean. Or maybe just something for you to chew on when you are bored.

Okay, that is it for my backpack story.
I hope you guys enjoy it and somehow find it useful.

Thank you for reading and I will update you guys on another blog post soon.

See ya!
