Good morning beautiful Bangkok!
Woke up to a sunny day, sunny day during vacation just made me felt so good.
Another day full of adventures and we were really excited!
Breakfast time!
We started our day with a great breakfast.
He took some spaghetti, fried egg, curry potato and salad.
His breakfast looks really appetizing in this picture.
His breakfast.
Whereas mine does't really look that appetizing in this picture but trust me, they were delicious especially the curry potato.
And my breakfast.
Filled our tummy up and we went off for another adventure day.
We spent almost half of our day at the park.
Apparently, my bf loves park very much but it is okay since we don't really go to park that often.
First stop for day #3: Chatuchak Park.
How did we get there?
We took the BTS from BTS Ratchathewi Station to BTS Mo Chit Station.
Once we reached BTS Mo Chit Station, we crossed over the road by walking through the pedestrian bridge and hello Chatuchak Park.
BTS Mo Chit Station on the right side so you have to cross to the other side of the road.
There is a MRT station beside Chatuchak Park so if you are travelling by MRT, you can get off at MRT Chatuchak Station.
MRT Chatuchak Station
We reached there at about 9:00am++, it was still early and we saw a lot of people were jogging around or exercising there.
It was a nice park actually but it was not that big. We spent about half an hour or less maybe to walk around the park.
Took some photos of the park and we were off to the next park, Queen Sirikit Park.
Queen Sirikit Park was even bigger than this and we actually spent about 3 hours there.
Talk about exercising, I think we had a great one!
Second stop for day #3: Queen Sirikit Park.
How did we get there?
Queen Sirikit Park is actually located beside Chatuchak Park.
We walked through Chatuchak Park until the other end of the park then we crossed the road and walked for about 10 minutes before we reached Queen Sirikit Park.
Maybe my directions are not clear enough, read here for more information on how to get there.
It looks like an entrance to a magical place behind me.
Stairway to unicorn land? xD
I didn't know that pink and yellow were the perfect match until I saw this.
Maybe because I don't really like yellow and that was why I would never ever put yellow and pink together but this has changed my mind.
Yellow is the new pink!
And this is also one of my favourite pictures.
I wanted to fly but my weight is stopping me. xD
We didn't realize how big the park was until we found a Lotus and Water Lily Yard.
We kept on walking and we reached another part of the park, the botanical garden.
We then found a Toyota playground I guess.
It was closed when we were there so we just walked around to see and we found something cute.
It was like a mini place for kids to drive around or maybe kids driving school.
They have mini traffic lights, mini police station and more.
Giant bf is in the town! xD
Mini home.
Okay, enough of exploring this small world.
Continued on our journey!
Honestly, we were dying to get out of this place but it was too big and we walked blindly, that was what happened.
Can you spot the squirrel in this picture?
Next stop, Bangkok Butterfly Garden & Insectarium and it is located in Queen Sirikit Park too.
Seriously, it was a huge park and we walked for about 3 hours.
Finally, the end of our journey at Queen Sirikit Park.
We spent almost 3 hours walking in that park and hopefully we could lose some weight from all the walks. Finger crossed!
Third stop for day #3: Neverland Siberian True Love Cafe (TrueLove @ Neverland)
How did we get there?
We took the BTS from BTS Chatuchak Station to BTS Ari Station and went to Exit 1.
We went down on the Shell Gas Station side of the street and walked a little further to Soi Paholyotin then turned right and we saw the Tuk-Tuk station.
It was not really a Tuk-Tuk station, just that there were a lot of Tuk-Tuk waiting for passengers there.
It costed us 50Bath per trip to the cafe.
For the first time in forever, I traveled around by Tuk-Tuk.
So cool!
We and our messy hair! You can't just fabulously taking a Tuk-Tuk.
We are here!
It was 350Baht per person and it came with a drink and a dessert, either a cake or an ice-cream cake and both of us chose ice-cream cake!
Imagine ice-cream cake under a hot weather!
He had a Banana Strawberry Ice-cream cake.
And I had a Raspberry Sherbet Ice-cream cake.
Entry ticket to redeem our drinks and that square thingy to redeem our cakes.
We had our lunch there and it was quite nice actually but it was too freaking spicy!
Seriously, the level of spiciness was crazy!
We were literally crying while eating those!
He had a Spicy Miso Pork and it was crazily SPICY!
I had a Pork Sausage Spaghetti Bolognese and it was freaking spicy too!
Okay, Huskies time!
While they were waiting for treats from their mama.
Handsomely walking towards us, so handsome!
Look at this giant doggy, so huge.
A bowl of ice for them under a hot sunny day.
COME BACK HERE AND LET ME LOVE YOU!
Okay fine, you can pet me.
I'm just gonna sit here until someone comes and pet my head.
Okay, huskies, you guys were making me missing my little FiFi at home.
It was a fun day at TrueLove Cafe so now can I have a Husky for myself please???
Before we left the cafe, the waitress asked whether we needed a Tuk-Tuk service or not. If we needed one then she would help us to call for a Tuk-Tuk service for us. How nice was she?
We paid 40Baht for that trip returning back to BTS Ari Station.
For you guys who are planning to visit this cafe, here are the operating hours.
Bye bye huskies and we continued our journey in Bangkok.
How did we get there?
We took the BTS from BTS Ari Station to BTS Siam Station and we just walked along the sky bridge before we reached Siam Square.
Siam Square, Siam Paragon and Siam Center are all located next to each other so it was like a 3-in-1 kind of thing!
To all the girls out there, those are your places!
But too bad for us because my bf was feeling sick, he was suffering from food poisoning or maybe from eating something that was too spicy for his tummy to handle.
His tummy was too pain to walk so we decided to go back to our hotel and rest.
We ended our journey early that day because sick cat needed to rest.
Short story time.
I went out to find a pharmacy while my bf was resting in the room.
Thank God that the receptionist told me that there was a pharmacy nearby to our hotel.
I walked around to find the pharmacy and I saw this tiny little pharmacy.
I walked in and I saw a guy who was sitting beside the counter and here was our conversations.
Me: Do you have any medicine for food poisoning?
The guy: huh?
Me: Medicine for food poisoning?
The guy: Sorry, write name.
***He took out a notepad and gave it to me
The guy: Write name.
***I wrote my name on that paper, Rachel.
***The guy took out a medical dictionary or something and looked for R then looked for Rachel.
Me: Sorry, this is my name. Food poisoning.
***Trying to show the gesture of eating food while saying food poisoning.
The guy: Oh! Food poisoning? Vomiting? Diarrhea?
Me: YES! (That was what I was trying to say but thank God that he got it)
That kind of language barrier.
But he was really nice because he kept apologizing to me for not understanding what I was trying to say earlier. Don't worry nice guy!
Went back, showered and we ended the night.
The views from our hotel room.
That's it for day #3.
Stay tune for day #4, our final day in Bangkok.
